Nicole Lukac, LCSW
Hi, my name is Nicole and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I was born and raised in Mexico City and have been living in the US post-college. I received my B.A. in Psychology and Human Rights from Trinity College, and received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago. I've been practicing for five years and specialize in trauma, PTSD, and interpersonal relationships. I've worked in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, and private practices. My clients include children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
My Philosophy
I practice with a client-focused approach and believe that therapy is the perfect space for every individual to realize their full potential and make the necessary changes to achieve a happy, healthy life. As your therapist, I will empower you to make your own decisions while providing guidance and support. Together, we will identify core beliefs, examine your past and current environment, and develope coping skills to deal with current life stressors. Healing is a never-ending journey and I invite you to take the courageous step towards taking back control of your life.
My Services
I offer a variety of counseling services to meet the unique needs of my clients, including individual therapy, couples counseling and family therapy. I also offer specialized services for issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, personality disorders and life transitions.
I do not currently accept insurance, however I provide invoices to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
My Modalities
I practice using a client-centered approach, working collaboratively with our clients to identify their goals and develop a customized treatment plan. I am trained in DBT, A.R.T, EMDR and Mindfulnesss.
